About the 2026 holiday fair season

Holiday craft fairs are the biggest weekends of the year for handmade sellers and the easiest place to find gifts that were not made in a factory. This page tracks 792 of them across the United States: church and school bazaars, downtown Christmas markets, juried holiday art shows, and gift boutiques that run every weekend from November to Christmas.

California has the most listed so far with 115, followed by Texas (85), Minnesota (45), Washington (41). The counts move every night. Small-town bazaars in particular tend to post their dates in October, so if your state looks thin, check again in a few weeks, or use the Watch button on your state's page to get an email when new fairs are added.

Selling this season? The deadline tracker lists every holiday show still taking vendor applications, and the booth ROI calculator helps decide which fees are worth paying. If it is your first show, start with the permit and sales tax guides for your state.

Holiday craft fair FAQ

When do Christmas craft fairs start in 2026?

The earliest holiday-themed fairs on TheCraftMap open in mid-September, but the season really begins the first weekend of November. November is the busiest month with 511 of the 792 listed holiday fairs. Most Christmas markets and holiday bazaars fall on the weekends between Thanksgiving and December 20.

Which states have the most holiday craft fairs?

California (115), Texas (85), Minnesota (45), Washington (41), Colorado (35) have the most holiday craft fairs listed for 2026. Counts change nightly as organizers announce dates, so a state low on the list in September is usually much fuller by November.

How do I find Christmas craft fairs near me?

Pick your state above for every holiday fair in it, sorted by date, then use the city links on that page to narrow down to your town. Each listing shows the venue, dates, and booth fees where the organizer publishes them.

How far ahead should vendors apply for holiday shows?

Juried holiday shows often close applications in August or September, and most others close one to three months before the event. Fairs still accepting vendors are marked on each state page; the deadline tracker lists every open application with its closing date.
