Mule Day / Chickenfest is an annual street festival held in downtown Gordo on the first weekend of June. The festival begins on Friday night and ends Saturday after lunch. Mule Day / Chickenfest features live entertainment, food trucks, various street vendors, children's games and activities, homemade ice cream, and even a 5k Run! Every Saturday of the festival features a parade with horses, mule-drawn wagons, as well as antique cars and tractors.
