The Glenn Miller Festival celebrates the music of Glenn Miller and the Big Bands. There are museum displays by the Univ. of CO and the Glenn Miller Birthplace Society, a panel discussion by Miller authorities, a dance, two picnics, a Big Band Breakfast plus many concerts by some of the finest Big Bands from around the world. A National Vocal & Inst. Glenn Miller Scholarship Competition is held awarding $12,000.
