Capital Lakefair has been a Thurston County tradition since the first event in 1957. Each summer Lakefair hosts a week of family fun around Capital Lake in Olympia. Lakefair has also helped raise millions of dollars for local non-profit food vendors, a venue for craft vendors, and more than $400,000 in scholarship funding for students from local high schools to help pursue higher education.
