The Blueberry Festival began in 1980 as a fundraising event for the Susquehanna County Historical Society and Free Library Association. Since its beginning, the Festival has been a community celebration, which has grown into an eagerly-awaited event supported by the partnership of hundreds of volunteers and the dedication of local businesses. The Blueberry Festival represents small town life at its finest. Funds support the Association.
