Swedish Festival Arts & Crafts Fair 60th

The ultimate Scandinavian Vacation the third weekend in May invites all who dare to experience and taste the rich culture of Sweden in Kingsburg. This event is filled with entertainment, food and fun. It all begins on Thursday night with the pea soup & Swedish pancake supper. On Friday night enjoy a Swedish Smorgasbord and Heritage Program, and Saturday we will have a Festival with Parade, Vendors, and Heritage Activities! Besides the many great shops & restaurants on Draper St. in Downtown Kingsburg, it’s also where you will find the Swedish Cultural Village. Here you can experience the Swedish Culture as you discover many food & craft booths and enjoy the entertainment.

Beverly Hills Art Show 53rd

Selected artists will exhibit in historic Beverly Gardens Park along four famous blocks in the center of Beverly Hills, ideally located between a beautiful, busy neighborhood and the Golden Triangle business district, well-known for its deluxe restaurants, top-end designer stores, and important galleries. Eleven fine art and fine craft categories are featured, with an emphasis on fine art. New artists are always encouraged to apply.

Heritage of Aloha

Heritage of Aloha (HOA) is a 2-day Festival showcasing the heritage of Hawai'i & Polynesia with island cuisine, an outdoor marketplace, cultural workshops, and continuous music and dance on a big stage. Join us in May 2026

Ocean Beach Kiwanis Children's Kite Festival 78th

Families return every year, to the oldest continuously running Children's Kite Festival in the US, now in its 78th year. Admission is free. The craft fair is well established, with vendors returning year after year. A selected number of quality food vendors are also invited. Attendance at the festival is 2000 to 2500, mostly families and children. Children are taught how to make and fly a simple kite; all materials are included free. Awards given for the best decorated kites. There are games for the children. Professional and internationally re-known kite aviators perform demonstrations accompanied by music.

Himalayan Fair 43rd

An annual event since 1983, the fair has grown to fill Live Oak Park, showcasing vendors and crafts from all over, food from Himalayan regions and a stunning array of musicians and dancers. Classical and folk dances, ancient and modern music, traditional and fusion presentations will delight you throughout both days of the fair. It has truly become a manifestation of the early vision of a meeting place where many aspects of culture are celebrated. A unique blend of traditional and modern representations of Himalayan regions, the fair has something for everyone. Berkeley has been an ideal host for the fair, with numerous, intersecting connections to the countries of the Himalayas. To draw together community members from Tibet, Nepal, India, Bhutan, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Myanmar, and other interested people to celebrate the cultural diversity of the Himalayan region. To produce an annual festival that incorporates the commerce, entertainment and social gathering space of a Himalayan bazaar, and provide a venue for up-and-coming performers as well as seasoned headliners in the performance arts of the Himalayan region. Red Suspenders Day

Gridley Red Suspenders Day is held on the third Saturday in May each year honoring our volunteer fire fighters for all they do for us during the year. The day starts with a pancake breakfast, bed races, arts, crafts and food vendors, car show, firefighters games, live and entertainment, a parade, and other events. Thousands of people attend this annual event from all over Northern California. Sponsored by the Gridley Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Balboa Island Artwalk is the premier showcase for talented local artists and marks the start of the island's summer season. This juried fine art show features artists exhibiting paintings, fine jewelry, blown glass, sculpture and photography. Spectators will enjoy live music throughout the day on five stages along the walk.

Topanga Banjo Fiddle Contest & Folk Fest 63rd

The TBFC Artists Village is taking applications from Artisans, Exhibitors, Food Vendors and Sellers of Music Paraphernalia. TBFC is seeking high-quality, hand-crafted and local products. Made and created, preferably, by the artisan who is selling them. We also welcome music outlets to showcase instruments and accessories, locally made or otherwise, that support musicians at the festival. Other vendors will be considered on a case by case basis. NEW LOCATION this year​! Our festival will be held at King Gillette Ranch at 26800 Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas, CA 91302. Please read through the following information, as our procedures have changed.
