Crested Butte, known for its mountain charm and breathtaking panoramic vistas, is also distinguished by a sizable second-home owner population that visits our area throughout the summer months. Ridgway Rendezvous Art & Crafts Festival 41st

Celebrating its 41st year, the Ridgway Rendezvous Art & Craft Festival is a beloved summer tradition in southwest Colorado. Vail Fine Arts 7th

Art on the Rockies is growing into a premiere, destination arts festival, known for the quality of art and first class treatment of both its artists and its guests. Now we have expanded into the village of Lionshead in Vail. With Vail's Rocky Mountain backdrop and glorious summer weather to compliment the event, the festival attracts more than 8000 seasonal and year round residents and tourists. The festival showcases 90 fine artists from around the country.

Book & Paper Fair 42nd

More than 50 of the nation’s most prestigious dealers in rare and collectible books will be at the Douglas County Fairgrounds Friday August 14th and Saturday August 15th, for the 42nd annual Rocky Mountain Book & Paper Fair. For booklovers across the region, it’s an annual weekend not to be missed. Of the thousands of books offered, the fair typically includes some once-in-a-lifetime finds. There is truly something for everyone, from museum-quality volumes for the serious collector to books suited for casual gift-giving. The largest event of its kind between Chicago and California, the Rocky Mountain Book & Paper Fair also offers a wealth of vintage and rare paper goods, including postcards, maps, art prints, old travel brochures, posters, ads and ephemera from decades – and centuries – past. Hosted annually by the Rocky Mountain Antiquarian Booksellers Association ( RMABA), the fair has built a reputation as one of the nation’s leading antiquarian book fairs.

Palisade Peach Festival 58th

One of the oldest agricultural-themed festivals in Colorado. Attendance exceeds 15,000 at the park on Friday and Saturday. The Festival draws visitors from western Colorado, the metropolitan areas on the front range and all over the US. Riverbend Park in Palisade offers one of the prettiest locations for a festival anywhere. The park boosts a large outdoor setting under a canopy of mature trees situated in the bend of the cooling Colorado River.

The Handmade in Colorado Expo is a showcase of some of Colorado's Best Handmade Arts, Crafts, Food, and Goods. All merchandise displayed at this juried show is handmade in Colorado and sold direct by the artist or crafter. Exhibitors will represent a wide range of media including metals, paper, fibers, food, found and fabricated objects, clay, paint, wax, gems, and more. Come support your local artists and craftspeople in their pursuit of creativity made by hand.

Fine Arts Festival 60th

The Evergreen Fine Arts Festival (EFAF) is located in the beautiful mountain town of Evergreen, Colorado, in the foothills of the front range. The EFAF was started and continues to be run by artists, for artists. Show hours are from 10am to 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The EFAF is run and managed by the Evergreen Artists Association (EAA), a non-profit organization that has provided the mountain community with cultural events for over fifty years. Proceeds from the festival provide art-related programs and classes, support of the arts programs in area schools, and an on-going scholarship program for mountain area youth. Artist amenities include a catered dinner on Saturday night for the artist and one guest, booth sitters, overnight security, free parking, and early set-up on Friday. Ribbons and monetary awards are awarded at the artists dinner on Saturday night.
