Belle Plaine's Downtown Festival is held the third weekend of April, just 25 minutes south of Wichita via I-35. Since 1986, Belle Plaine, KS has welcomed thousands of visitors to this two day event. Enjoy activities for every age including arboretum tour of 30,000 tulips, athletic competitions, BBQ Cook Off, a car show with nearly 100 vintage vehicles, contests, a carnival, festival food, helicopter rides, Kids Fest, a parade, pony rides, street dance, talent show and a variety of live on-stage entertainment.
