Day at the Docks is the largest, one day, outdoor event celebrating saltwater sportfishing on the West Coast. For over 40 years, the Port of San Diego and the San Diego Sportfishing fleet have celebrated the start of their fishing season. Upwards of 25,000 sportfishing enthusiast and their families flock to this free event. The event boasts that there is something of interest for everyone in the family. Boat rides and “open house” inspections of the 70 + boats in fleet. There are free seminars on tips and techniques on catching, care and the cooking your fish from well known experts. Knot tying and casting contests with super prizes all donated by the attending tackle manufacturers. There is the Kids Fishing Adventure promoting a “catch and release” program for all youngsters from the ages of 4-12. AND IT’S FREE

Fallbrook Avocado Festival

Fallbrook’s Annual Avocado Festival provides an opportunity for entertainment and camaraderie bringing large numbers of visitors. The central role that the avocado plays in our lives is evident in the Festival’s Farmers Market, Agricultural Area, Avocado Culinary Demonstrations, Guacamole Contest, Avocado Ice Cream, Holy Guaca-Moly, the Art of the Avocado Contest, the Avo 500 Children’s Car Race, and the Best Decorated Avocado Contest. A wide variety of agricultural displays are also found all along the Festival streets. What a fun-filled way to celebrate our heritage and be entertained at the same time!

Spring Arts & Crafts Fair 57th

Join us and all the Curators, Crafters & Makers that line the streets of the Historic District for this one day Rain or Shine Event. Over 200 vendors will be there to provide you with a unique shopping experience.

Spring UCSD Vendor Fair

The UC San Diego Vendor Fair is a tri-annual on-campus event open to local vendors selling various merchandise. Located in the middle of campus on Library Walk, our fair attracts hundreds of students daily giving them the opportunity to support and learn about local businesses. The fair showcases a variety of items including clothing, jewelry, phone accessories, beauty and body products, sunglasses, and much more! All new vendors who participate in the vendor fair must sell non-food merchandise.

Mission Federal Artwalk 42nd

San Diego's longest running and largest art festival (40 years in 2024!) is in the city's Little Italy district. The charming venue is San Diego's dining mecca, which on any weekend attracts thousands. During the ArtWalk weekend, the neighborhood is filled with over 100,000 art lovers that travel from all over the USA to attend. Occupying 15 blocks of the district, artists may choose from a wide variety of locations. Each city block has its own unique character, and this year for the first time, we are decreasing the sprawl of the event so that the footprint is more compact and there will be fewer total artists. Artists benefit from an extensive marketing, publicity and social media campaigns, with a strong presence in radio and television as well as print and online advertising. Considered one of San Diego's top public festivals, the attendance grows each year. Marketing pieces are provided for participating artists to distribute.

Montclair Village Art Walk 49th

Applications accepted after deadlines for space or waiting list consideration. The 49th annual Montclair Village Summer Art Walk lines the sidewalk of this busy shopping district that attracts people from one of Oakland’s most affluent communities. Montclair Village is a charming and vibrant shopping district, nestled in the beautiful, tree-covered Oakland Hills. The Village has a laid-back, small town feel, plenty of parking in the City-owned garage, and many small business retailers and restaurants. On Sundays, the Farmer’s Market joins us bringing early morning shoppers. This event stands as one of our top selling Sidewalk Fairs. Sidewalks are narrow and some are hilly—Spaces are 4 ft. deep x 13 ft. long. No tents, but market umbrellas are welcome. Up to 65 artist spaces. Booth area have some obstacles to work around. Location: off Hwy 13, near Piedmont

Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival

Crafters and artists that feature Japanese items or better quality art or craft items imported from Japan are allowed in this event as well as traditional American arts and crafts. Booths are arranged around a small lake. Fair goers are primarily Asian. Japanese drummers and other entertainment including a major cultural display attract fair goers from the entire South Bay Area. You will be able to find excellent Japanese food. The Cherry Blossom Festival takes place in Memorial Park that fronts on Stevens Creek Blvd. and is adjacent to the Oakes Shopping Center so the festival gets good drive by traffic. Booths are set up on grass and may be left up over night. Friday setup available.
