The Dakotafest Women’s Brunch and Vendor Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the Highland Conference Center. Tickets are on sale July 5th on a first come, first served basis at the Chamber of Commerce office.

Riverboat Days & Summer Arts Festival 43rd

The Summer Arts Festival is the premiere, three-day arts event of the region held in conjunction with the annual Yankton Riverboat Days Celebration. The festival is held in picturesque Riverside Park which borders the mighty Missouri River. Held annually on the third full weekend in August under the coordination of Yankton Area Arts, the juried show features over 120 fine artists and fine craftsmen from around the country. Each year an estimated 100,000 people attend this community celebration.

Central States Fair

• ALL Exhibitors must apply annually and previous participation does not guarantee acceptance. • All locations will be determined by Fair Management despite previous year’s location if a returning vendor. Locations may change annually based on layout, entertainment, and traffic flow. • Exhibitors accepted for the Fair will receive a contract and an invoice (do not pay with application). • Exhibitors must carry $1,000,000 liability insurance, naming “CENTRAL STATES FAIR, INC.” as and “ADDITIONAL INSURED” (not just a certificate holder). Proof is required with contract and payment as set forth in the above deadlines. • Optional coverage is possibly available through the Fair for $160 (subject to change). • In the event Exhibitor fails to submit the contract, payment or required insurance as stated, Fair Management can cancel the space and re-assign it without notice. • Cancellation of booth space must be made in writing. Cancellations after July 10 receive no refunds.

The Sidewalk Arts Festival is a FREE outdoor event in historic downtown Sioux Falls, SD, with more than 250 vendor booths featuring the region’s best fine art, folk art and craft artisans. Enjoy activities for kids, live entertainment, food vendors and more on the streets surrounding the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science! This festival is a fundraiser for the Washington Pavilion and is the region’s largest one-day arts festival.
