Come celebrate all things art at the Bigfork Festival of the Arts the first weekend of August. The Bigfork Festival of the Arts takes place in downtown Bigfork filling the village with a fine selection of art, crafts, food, music and other entertainment on both Saturday and Sunday.

Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering

Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering & Western Music Rendezvous in Lewistown, Montana is listed in Patricia Schultz' travel book, 1,000 Places to See in the US and Canada Before you Die! The 4-day Gathering is a celebration of the history and heritage of the Rocky Mountain northwest 'before the wire.' Over 100 cowboy poets, musicians and art/gear vendors participate annually. Sat. August 8th Dave Stamey, singer/songwriter, stars at the Grand Stage Show.

Welcome everyone to the 35th Annual Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering and Western Music Rendezvous, a signature event held every August in Lewistown, Montana. We’re glad you’re here! Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering is the 2nd oldest cowboy poetry gathering in the country, just one year behind the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, Nevada! The mission of Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering is: “…to preserve and celebrate the history, heritage and values of the American cowboy in the upper Rocky Mountain west.”
