Since 1974 Solano Avenue and the twin-cities of Albany and Berkeley CA, have hosted the Solano Avenue Stroll, the East Bay’s largest street festival! The Solano Avenue Association invites you to see what makes Solano Avenue a wonderful place. We feature over four hundred vendors including 50 entertainers, 25 food booths, 100 government and non-profit agencies, 100 artisans, jewelers, makers, and much more! 100,000 participants and event guests visit from all over northern California, and beyond. This family event promotes the unique traits of Solano Avenue, helping independently-owned businesses, artists, and community organizations to thrive by exposure and fundraising.

🔥🚗 Hot Chili & Cool Cars is back! 🚗🔥 For its 33rd sizzling year, this free, fun-filled fiesta serves up spicy chili, show-stopping classic cars, and a whole lot of friendly rivalry for bragging rights! Rocklin Road & Quarry Park will explode with flavor, horsepower, and fun, stretching across nearly 5 city blocks of tasty bites, shiny rides, and smiles for miles. Come for the chili, stay for the cars—and leave with memories hotter than a jalapeño and cooler than a vintage Cadillac!

Adams Avenue Street Fair 44th

The 44th annual Adams Avenue Street Fair – Southern California’s largest free two-day music festival is held each year in September in the community of Normal Heights. The event also features carnival rides, beer gardens and beer tastings, festival foods and 300 arts and crafts booths. Beer connoisseurs will enjoy the Street Fair’s Craft Beer Taste (from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday only), across from the Starbucks Stage. Visitors to the craft beer taste will have the opportunity to sample 2oz. tastes from 20 breweries for only $25. Three additional beer gardens are open throughout the two-day run of the street fair featuring full pour servings of San Diego’s best craft beer selection. Vendors with unique offerings also will be participating in this year’s street fair and will be set-up throughout the venue. Adams Avenue Street Fair is underwritten by a grant from the City of San Diego’s Commission for Arts and culture and the County of San Diego.

ArtWalk Carlsbad 6th

The event takes place on a wide tree-lined boulevard overlooking the ocean. Cool ocean breezes and stunning views make the venue a spectacular backdrop for showcasing your art. It is surrounded by thousands of free parking spaces, with special parking provided for artists. ArtWalk Carlsbad, produced by the same team that brings over 100,000 attendees to ArtWalk in Little Italy each April, is heavily marketed and publicized. In addition to fine art on display and for sale, there is a terrific musical lineup, delicious food, and a wine and beer pavilion, as well as interactive art activities for all ages.

Fall Arts Festival 69th

This venerated art festival held in a gorgeous redwood grove in downtown Mill Valley, showcases the work of 135 fine art and fine craft artists. Only original artist-made work is acceptable. September is a wonderful time to come together and celebrate art and community! The show has 65 years of experience and remains dedicated to producing a unique, high-end show for both artists and patrons alike. The Golden Gate Bridge connects Marin County to San Francisco and the show draws visitors from both of these affluent communities.

All vendors other than food vendors must offer something dog related. For example, clothing with dog pictures, dog paintings, or items for dogs such as toys, clothing or dog services.

Fine Art Show 51st

Over 40 local artists display paintings, pottery, sculpture, and photography on the shady streets of Columbia State Historic Park. This is a Fine Art Show along tree lined streets in one of the best preserved Gold Rush towns in the Mother Lode and has been popular with locals and visitors for over 40 years!

Salmon Festival

The 4th Saturday of September; historic downtown Oroville & the Feather River Fish Hatchery burst w/ activities during the Annual Salmon Festival, a day of fun, food, music & salmon. Oroville celebrates the return of thousands of spawning salmon to the Feather River. Environmental education, music, salmon tasting, tours of the hatchery, and fun for kids and adults. There's also a pancake breakfast, live music, craft fair & more Feast at the Salmon Court on local salmon, take a spin in a kayak on the beautiful Feather River, dance to free live music and enjoy a glass of fine craft ale or wine with grilled or smoked salmon. There's also the Oroville Hospital health Fair with free flu shots and health screenings and plenty of free fun activities for the kids at the Butte county free "Family Fun Day". There's free admission, parking and air conditioned shuttles too. Come to historic downtown Oroville and see one of northern Californians best kept secrets.

Pacific Coast Fog Festival

The Fog Fest is back. This unique event takes place along the beautiful coast of Pacifica. The Fog Fest weekend kicks off the with its traditional Saturday morning parade and Fog Jog on Sunday morning, both great sale starts to the day. Additional festival draws are the Fog Fest’s signature Fog Cutter cocktail, professional sand sculpture, Sunday Family Fun Fest, and over 200 vendor booths lining Palmetto Ave. Spaces are 10'x10'. Late Friday set up (after 6 PM) is available. Security is provided over Saturday night only. Sponsorships available. There is no water available on the event site, and portable generators are allowed after receiving written permission from Festival Productions at the time you apply for the event.
