Spring Tractor Show

Get ready to see some of the most fascinating machines of the past at the Antique Engine and Tractor Show. This exciting event brings together collectors, enthusiasts, and families for a couple of days of fun and nostalgia. The show features dozens of antique engines and tractors, each with their own unique story. Visitors can browse through the various exhibitions, meet the owners, and enjoy live demonstrations of some of the engines and tractors in action! Surf & Art Festival 20th

The Doheny State Beach Interpretive Association is the nonprofit foundation that supports the educational, conservation and restoration programs at Doheny State Beach. The Surf & Art Festival is part of our fundraising efforts, as well as being a free, community event that celebrates the history of surfing at Doheny.

Art in the Village 28th

For nearly three decades, the Carlsbad Village Association has hosted Art in the Village, a free, one-day, open-air art show, that features the extraordinary work of fine artists from all over the region. The 2025 event brought together 135 local and regional fine artists and musicians for a festive day of visual and performing arts. Celebrating the dynamic fine art culture in Carlsbad Village and the surrounding areas, the event attracts thousands of residents and travelers by offering a diverse selection of fine artists in media such as painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor), classical and contemporary sculpture, glass, drawing, photography, metal, mixed media, digital art, printmaking, wood, and fiber. Starting at 10AM attendees browse exhibits, watch performance art, enjoy interactive demos, and listen to live music along State Street and Grand Avenue right in the heart of downtown Carlsbad Village, just blocks from Carlsbad State Beach.

The Arts on the 4th Festival is a 48-year tradition in the heart of Mammoth Lakes. It is loved by artists and patrons alike for its commitment to high-quality art in a warm and friendly environment. The Arts of the 4th Festival, scheduled for July 2 - 5, 2026 will attract 50 - 70 artists and several thousand visitors to Mammoth Lakes, California, a world class mountain resort town just 4 hours north of Los Angeles. On the 4th of July, the Town parade will pass right by the event, creating a festive influx of patrons. A fundraising event for Mammoth Lakes Recreation, Mammoth Lakes Arts on the 4th prides itself on the quality hospitality of its artists and treating crowds to delicious food, top-notch local music performances, and unique creative activities for the whole family. Santa Barbara County Fair 135th

Each year, thousands of visitors attend the Santa Barbara County Fair. The Fair showcases the community’s interests and talents, offering a unique assortment of activities to do and see. From jams and jellies, to pies, photography, homemade quilts and floriculture, the Santa Barbara County Fair provides visitors with an interesting mix of both community oriented and educational fun. The Fair also feature award winning wines, fine art, and plenty of entertainment, including a destruction derby. This agriculturally oriented county fair features the State's largest junior livestock auction, along with plenty of other plant and animal based agricultural exhibits. There are plenty of carnival rides, animals, petting zoos, pony rides and of course, lots of fantastic fair food in a wholesome, old-fashioned atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy! The 4th of July Parade kicks off the day in downtown Nevada City at 11:00am. The fun continues at the Nevada County Fairgrounds, 3:00 – 10:00pm. Enjoy a traditional family celebration with entertainment, food, craft fair and spectacular fireworks show.

Sierra Nevada Peddlers Market Summer Festival 54th

The Arnold Summer Festivals is held in the center of downtown Arnold, a mountain resort town on the road to Bear Valley Ski Resort on Highway 4, among the pines and redwoods, on the grounds of Bristol’s Ranch House Café’. The Memorial Day Peddlers Faire will feature high-quality, hand-crafted artisans, specialty food and antiques that will make this a memorable event for many years to come! Enjoy the crisp mountain air as you walk among the booths and try the specialty food while enjoying the wonderful mountain environment.

4th of July Fest

Enjoy a fun run (see below), live music, food, a beer garden, arts and crafts, merchandise and vendors all day long at Beachfront Park followed by the biggest fireworks show on the north coast (starts at dusk.) Watching the fireworks over the Battery Point Lighthouse is an amazing sight to see! Fireworks can be seen from all beaches in Crescent City.
