Flea marketing, food, fun and flowers! All in historic Mantorville, Minnesota It all began with the humble marigold, a hearty and colorful little flower native to the Americas. Initially begun as a flower show to promote the planting of marigolds throughout the Mantorville community, with early sponsorship from Marigold Dairies, Rochester, Minnesota, this event has grown to be on one the region’s best known and most attended annual festivals.

Sidewalk Arts Festival 2026

The Sidewalk Arts Festival is a FREE outdoor event in historic downtown Sioux Falls, SD, with more than 250 vendor booths featuring the region’s best fine art, folk art and craft artisans. Enjoy activities for kids, live entertainment, food vendors and more on the streets surrounding the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science! This festival is a fundraiser for the Washington Pavilion and is the region’s largest one-day arts festival.

The Rogue Credit Union Cranberry Festival is a lively introduction to our community, as well as a time-honored tradition for residents. Boasting 80 years of family fun with a parade, festival market, evening street dance and more. You’ll enjoy live music and performing arts, classic car show and farm equipment, sports and tournaments, art exhibits and craft markets, shopping and dining, and above all, the bitterly-sweet, locally-famous cranberry-eating contest.

District Fair

Probably the event that has brought more people together in Southeast Missouri, extending over the longest period is the SEMO District Fair. This year marks the 170th celebration of the "Old Cape Fair". The fair has served as a great diversion for the people of the area that planned and saved money to attend over generations.
