Avocado Festival 40th

The 40th California Avocado Festival will take place in downtown Carpinteria October 2-4, 2026 complete with 3 full days of Peace, Love and Guacamole. We will have 60 bands, 50 arts & crafts and commercial vendors, 15 delicious food vendors and over a dozen non profits will be on site for you to help support. Reminder all proceeds of the festival go to the Carpinteria Education Foundation and the Future Farmers of America! SCHEDULE: Friday - 1pm to 11pm Locals Block Party (open to all) Saturday - 10am to 10pm Sunday - 10am - 7pm

Please note: Only items handcrafted by the exhibitors are acceptable. Exhibits must contain 75% of items crafted by the exhibitor and 25% may be purchased items, as long as they are representative of your category and photos (i.e., no clothing with woodcrafts or quilts with pottery). All applications are juried with emphasis on quality and variety. Every year we receive more requests; we cannot choose everyone due to space limitations. FEST HOURS Friday: 6p - Midnight Saturday: 10a - Midnight Sunday: 11a - 6p

La Mesa Oktoberfest

– Since 1973, La Mesa Oktoberfest has been attracting over 100,000 people from across San Diego and Southern California for three FREE days of elevated family-friendly entertainment, tons of top notch German food, live music, and of course, beer! Keeping in line with the traditional timeline of Oktoberfest celebrations in Munich, we will be kicking off the festivities on Friday-Sunday, October 4-6, as the quaint streets of La Mesa Village will set the scene for the largest German celebration San Diego has to offer!

Apple Festival

The ARKANSAS APPLE FESTIVAL is held every year during the first weekend of October in Lincoln, Arkansas. It is guaranteed to provide a weekend of fun for the whole family, no matter how old you are. Join us as we celebrate our bounty of apples and three days of wholesome family entertainment at the Arkansas Apple Festival. The center piece of our apple festival is the unequaled variety of arts and crafts featuring works of some of the most talented artisans in the Ozarks. These three days are bursting full of activities with contests for kids, musical entertainment, gospel singing, and much more. Youngsters are welcome in our special Kid's World. And yes, there will be an abundance of apple cider and free apple slices.
