Held aboard the Ocean Institute’s historic campus and tall ships, the Festival blends immersive maritime traditions with family-friendly adventure including pirate and mermaid experiences, cannon battles, live music, educational exhibits, artisan vendors, food trucks, and behind-the-scenes access to the Ocean Institute’s vessels and programs.
Proceeds from the Maritime Festival help fund the Ocean Institute’s school programs, field trips, and equity-focused initiatives such as Adopt-A-Class, ensuring that thousands of students each year can experience meaningful, standards-based learning on the water.
