Riverwalk Farmers Market - May

The Milford area is well known for the outstanding quality of its locally raised cantaloupes, watermelons, strawberries, and sweet corn. Several vendors provide herbs and organically grown products. Fresh baked apple dumplings, pies and breads are also sold. Art and craft items are available, as well as seasonal craft items such as handmade wreaths and painted pumpkins. The market is located on Walnut Street near the Mispillion Riverwalk.

Spring Chick Event

Chick Events has been around since 2014 and has also hosted nearly over 20 events! These days, you can find us popping up in the parking lot at Town Center Plaza during the spring and fall. Each of our tented, outdoor shopping events hosts 100-150 vendors and can have up to 6,000 guests! All vendor booths are tented and you can find Food Trucks and a Kids Area at each event. Vendors include handmade and local KC boutiques and mobile shops! We invite the entire family to come out to these events since there is fun to be had for all! We are dog-friendly and stroller-friendly, though it can get a bit crowded inside booths.

May Market

May Market, Hill-Stead's much-anticipated annual event supports the museum's 152 acres of beautiful gardens, grounds, and trails. May Market is produced with enormous support by the Hill-Steaders, volunteer ambassadors of Hill-Stead, who have supported the museum with fundraising and outreach initiatives for over 32 years. This is one of their largest events. This year, the festive happening will feature over 40 premium vendors and flowers and unique plants perfect for Mother's Day. Vendors will be located both indoors and outdoors. Shop and enjoy the beautiful grounds during this springtime celebration.

Hartford Power Squadron Marine Swap Meet and Craft Show

This family-friendly event will feature cookout-style food as well as items for sale. Not restricted to boats and boating equipment/services. Vendors can showcase locally made crafts, unique jewelry, one-of-a-kind gifts, clothing, tools, and much more! Vendor reservations are only $25 for a 9x18-foot space. Additionally, members of the Hartford Power Squadron will be available to help boaters access information on our courses, including the basic water safety class that qualifies students to obtain their required certification from the state of Connecticut.

Come one, come all and enjoy springtime while seeking out something old and something new! There is something for everyone at this sale. The Street Faire takes place in the quaint beach community of downtown Cayucos. More than 90 vendors participate in this biannual event, selling antiques, arts & crafts and commercial items. While shopping, visitors can satisfy their appetite with their choice from 8 food vendors offering everything from kettle korn to hotdogs. We also have many local eateries serving Mexican,, Italian, seafood and smoked fish and chicken !! And, no Faire is complete without sweet treats and cold drinks. Bring the whole family for a day of shopping and fun! Free admission, free parking !! Hours are 7 am - 3 pm.
