Our 5th annual Bay Area SpringFest celebrates spring with plants, arts & crafts, music, beer & wine garden and food in Downtown Concord at tree-lined Todos Santos Plaza in the largest city of upscale Contra Costa County. There will be music on the Todos Santos stage, a variety of food vendors, free activities for kids and myriad shopping opportunities. Admission and parking are free.

Woodcarvers Show 46th

This Show is limited to Woodcarving and Wood Turning only and must be the sole work of the exhibitor. No other crafts are permitted. Our annual show is normally held the first "full" weekend in May at the Baxter County Fairgrounds. It is one of the biggest shows in the area. The show features whittlers, woodcarvers, wood turners, vendors, judged competitions, demonstrations, and a carving contest. Judges are well qualified and chosen with care. Participants are from all levels - novice to professional. Many nationally known, professional carvers from across the United States participate in our show each year, along with local carvers. The show is free to the public.

This is a heritage event at a museum exploring fiber-bearing animals and the process of making textiles and other crafts from these fibers. We encourage vendors who are practicing traditional crafts, especially those related to the fiber arts and/or fiber-bearing animal by-products.

Old Pecan Street Festival 51st

Twice a year, twenty-four blocks of 6th Street, downtown Austin’s Entertainment District (Brazos to I-35) are transformed into the annual Pecan Street Festival. With more than 300 juried artists and original artisans, three stages of live music, a wide variety of ethnic and regional food, children’s workshops and more, the Pecan Street Festival has been a family tradition for thirty-three years. Festival-goers enjoy magicians, jugglers, comedians, dancers, international cuisine, carnival rides and thousands of beautiful people. As a free, family event, the Pecan Street Festival is the largest art festival in Central Texas, attracting over 300,000 people per event and generating $43 million in economic impact. Local musicians provide entertainment on three stages beginning at Noon and continuing into the late evening hours, and proceeds benefit local charities including the Austin Boxer Rescue, Friends of the Planetarium and United Care USA.
